A PROVEN TRUTH: 5 CATEGORY OF PEOPLE THAT MUST BE GREAT IN LIFE, NON MATTER WHAT.

 

The journey to greatness is a far journey that starts with some practical little steps. Although everyone was created with certain amount of inbuilt potential, to enjoy some level of greatness on earth, yet there are some people with the greatest level of potential in them. Unfortunately, so many of these category of people were not able to discover their potential, others were not able to allow their potential to manifest, while some others were not patient enough to wait for the appointed time, because of this, they got discouraged on this journey to greatness. Dear reader of this content, I will want you to know that the worst thing that can happen to any man is to be ignorant of your God given inbuilt potential. When you lack this knowledge, you live like ordinary man, and waste your days on earth. 

Today, I shall be exploring through this topic;

FIVE (5) CATEGORY OF PEOPLE THAT MUST BE GREAT IN LIFE, NON MATTER WHAT:

Greatness, is what so many people want to achieve in life. It is the level sought by all and sundry. But there are certain category of people, whom I have carried out a closed study about their lives and secret of their greatness in life, almost in all part of the world, and I have got to discover that most of them belongs to this category of people which I want to show you right in today's content. Hence, even if you have not attended the level of greatness you are supposed to by now, if you discover that you fall into this category of people, keep moving, and maintain the qualities that classified you into this category, in less than no time, you will see yourself manifest.

Therefore, based on my research, the following set of people stand the chances of becoming great in life, and nothing can stop them;

1.  THE HUMBLE AND GENTLE PEOPLE:

Humility is a value of having low or modest perspective of one's importance. As a great quality that is not possessed by so many people, it has the capability of catapulting someone from a level of zero to the hero's level. It is a neglected quality or virtue, that is scarce even in our present generation. But before now, most of the people that has made it in life, possessed this great quality. Many people has missed so many life-changing opportunities that come their way in their pomposity, due to the lack of humility. I don't want to refer you back to the scriptures, because I am not a pastor, but the secret behind the greatness of people like; Abraham, David, Solomon, Joseph, and others, is traceable to their humble dispositions. If you come to your own locality, count 10 people that have attended greatness, you will find out that 8 of them must possess this great quality. It is obvious that in humility, you can be made to sit before, kings, governors and presidents. A humble person is ever ready to know things that can help him/her to make it in life. The humble is ever ready to learn, non matter who is going to be his/her teacher. How many of you can allow yourself to be corrected by someone you taught, maybe in primary school, and you accept the correction with all your heart, that is the quality of humility right there. The other day, one of my students that I taught mathematics and physics in the secondary school, was going through my personally built website, as a web developer. After going through the website, he called me and was telling me the faults he discovered from my web page, he even told me that if other developers see it, that they will laugh at me.  Even though himself is not a developer, I accepted that correction, and appreciated him. The thing he told me set me on fire, to think how to upgrade my knowledge on web development. I began to make more research and deny myself sleep. After one week, I corrected the same website and resend the link to him. Himself was happy, but I was very happy, that even my boy was able to discover my fault, that would have jeopardized my profession in the world of web development. Today, I have learnt other programming languages, as a result of that correction. See, if you are not humble, you cannot learn and if you cannot learn, you cannot be corrected and if you cannot be corrected, you cannot progress and if you cannot progress, how can you attend the height of greatness in life. Hence, the humble people, though neglected and rejected, has more chances of becoming great, than their pompous and arrogant counterparts. The question is;

WHY ARE HUMBLE PEOPLE DESTINED FOR GREATNESS?

Some of the features that mapped out the people with humble disposition to fall under this category of people are;

1. They are ready to learn as to progress.

2. They are teachable as to excel.

3. They stand the chance to be favoured by people.

4. They are ready to be corrected as to avoid more mistakes.

5. They can survive anywhere, anyhow with anyone.

6. They are ready to ask questions as to know more.

7. They show gratitude.

All these are the key qualities that forms the secret of the greatness of humble people in this life. The pompose cannot be found here. Hence, if you possess the above qualities, you rightly belong to the category of people that this content has come to benefit. 

I have to move to the next category of people, which is;

2. THE VISIONARY AND FOCUSED PEOPLE:

Another category of people that must attend the height of greatness in life is, the people who have vision and focus. A visionary person has gotten a clear understanding of whom he/she is going to be in the future, and this forms his/her focus, in pursuing that vision without delay, not giving in to distraction. In his vision and focus, he overlook the challanges and the odd circumstances around him. Infact, he is not seeing the distractions, but he is constantly looking at his destination. Whom he want to be bothers him and not who he is presently. His vision, gives his life a definition and his focus gives him a direction. So many people around the world just live their lives without any vision. In this, they have no focus, hence, their lives has no definition, no direction and no destination. You cannot just wake up and see yourself becoming great, you must walk towards the road, that is why it is a process. Your ability to walk towards the road to greatness, is what prove your vision and demonstrate your focus. A life without vision is a shattered life, and a life without focus, is a scattered life. Men that achieved greatness, in Africa and the world at large, are men that has vision and worked with focus. People like  Alhaji Aliko Dangote, could not have been known in Africa and the world at large, if he did not keep to his vision of becoming a renowned businessman. The world is full of many great men and women today, who Pursued their life vision and maintained an extra-ordinal focus. Linda Ikeji, could not have been number one Nigerian and African blogger, if she did not keep on with her vision of many years ago, of becoming a publisher. Today, you need to know that, it is your vision that can propel you to the height you are aspiring to reach, not just your hardworking. So many people work very hard, but hardworking without vision and focus, cannot take you to your aspiring height of greatness. Hence, in your hardworking, add vision and don't forget to move with focus. The question is;

WHY DOES VISIONARY AND FOCUSED PEOPLE ALWAYS ATTEND GREATNESS IN LIFE?

Amongst the major reasons why people that have vision and move with focus, always attend a great height in life are;

1. They are always serious with whatever they are doing.

2. They always pursue their life target with caution.

3. They don't like to waste their time and life.

4. They don't give in to side attractions and distractions.

5. They have understanding of the direction, and destination of their life.

6. They have gotten a definition of their life and want to interpret it at all cost.

7. They refused to be stopped half-way.

All these are the peculiar qualities of people that have vision and focus, that made them to fall into this category. Hence, move with vision, give your life definition and direction and you must attend greatness as your destination some day. 

The next set of people that belong to this category is;

3. THE COURAGEOUS AND DETERMINED PEOPLE:

A courageous man is him that is willing and ready to confront, fight and tackle, his confrontations, challenges, oppositions and limitations at any given time, so as to possess his possession. Anyone that want to attend a height of greatness as far as life is concerned, must be ready for face the obstacles, troubles, challenges and oppositions which life must bring. Then, if your oppositions and something like that, intimidiates you and makes you quit or surrender from pursuing your life vision and aspiration, it simply means that you are not courageous, and cannot go far. Hence, anyone that give in to his confrontations or weaknesses, is a caward and does not belong to this category of people which we are talking about in this content. A courageous man may also fail, but he is not discouraged by his failures. Though he may fail 99 times, he will still take the courage to move on with the same one chance that is remaining for him. Thus, if one failure discourages you and make you turn from your life target, you as not fit for greatness. You must know this truth, that since the genesis of life on earth, no weak, discouraged or cawardice person, has been recorded in the register of great people, and never can be. Similarly, no fearful man can ever attend the height of greatness, non matter what. The more you give in to your opposition and limitations, the more backwards you move, but when you confront your limitatiions, you progress and makes an achievement. I remember how I loved mathematics those days, and wanted to attend any height in mathematics and arithmetics. Not until the mathematics I loved and studies very hard, disappointed me during our WASSCE. Despite the whole effort I put in night classes and studies, yet I couldn't credit it, even as my best subject. The surprising thing is that some of my classmates that I was teaching the same subject credited theirs. Those days in Abia State Senior Science School Alayi, even our mathematics teacher had confidence on me that I must be among those that will come out with flying colors. But, It was a total disappiontment to me, that the mathematics I like so much and the English I didn't like at all, both disappointed me. To me it was going to be a discouragement. Another surprising thing is that the same year, 2011, I was given an admission to study the same mathematics that I failed in the higher institution. All things being equal when the result of my auxillary examination (NECO) came out, I credited the mathematics. This made me to regain my love for this subject and proceeded with the admission. Today, thesame me that failed mathematics, is also teaching both mathematics and further mathematics in the secondary school level, and if I want to teach in the higher institution today, it must be the same mathematics and nothing more. Who can believe it that someone who failed mathematics in his O' level result can teach it in the schools today. Someone who failed English language, is now a publisher, not just a publisher, but an online publisher, where my grammar is being weighed and analyzed by professionals allover the world. Who can believe it that I, a completely computer illiterate, can now program the computer and tell it what I want it to do, and can also develop a website and build it for people and companies. All these where because, I did not give in to my limitations, I took the courage to face the failure that wanted to discourage me. Though I have not gotten to the final destination, but the courage you take today to confront and face what you see as your challenges, that want to stop you from reaching the height of greatness which you want to reach, will be the beginnig of your achievements in the nearest future. Remember a courageous man is faced with many oppositions, but he will never surrender to any of them. The question therefore becomes;

WHY DOES COURAGEOUS PEOPLE ALWAYS BECOME GREAT IN LIFE?

The secret behind the greatness of courageous people can be found within the circumference of the underlisted facts;

1. The courageous men does not and can never give up.

2. They are not intimidated by the words of men.

3. They does not run away from challenges.

4. They neither quit nor surrender.

5. They are ready and willing to take any risk so as to achieve their goals.

6. The courageous men see failure as a training to success, hence failure does not stop them.

7. They are not weak or lazy.

All these are the most common qualities, that makes the courageous people to fit into this category of people. And the cawardice, fearful and weak-hearted people cannot be found here. 

At this point, I shall be moving to the next category of people right here;

4. THE CHEERFUL GRATEFUL PEOLPE:

Another category of people that have the potential of becoming great in life are the cheerful and grateful people. This set of people always appreciate the little they have, thereby standing the chances of getting even more. They stand the highest chance of obtaining favour from people, even those that they have not come in contact with in the past. They attract people to favour them by their cheerful disposition and grateful characteristics. Such set of people, don't live a life of greediness or jealousy. They are happy about the good things that happened for other people, and rejoiced with them with their whole heart. These are another set of people that are rare to be seen, especially in our present generation. Thus, if you are always happy for the good things that happened for others, and always rejoice with them with the whole of your heart, not giving room for envy, jealousy and greed, then you are among this category of people. Hence, you are on the path to greatness. This category of people always do well in any business they found themselves. They have a way of using their cheerful disposition to attract customers and clients to themselves. They can easily associate with people, and always find it easy to make friends. They are highly social and easily survive anywhere they find themselves. With their cheerful lifestyle, they can enter where others cannot easily enter. They appreciate the little they have, and gently pursue more. They easily attract blessings from people to themselves through their cheerful and grateful qualities.

The question now is;

WHY DOES CHEERFUL AND GRATEFUL PEOPLE ALWAYS BECOME GREAT IN LIFE? 

The cheerful and grateful people are always on the path to greatness, due to the following reasons;

1. They always maintain a positive outlook on life and see the good situations about life.

2. They are always friendly, and obtains favour from people.

3. They are kind-hearted, and obtains blessings from men.

4. They don't live in too much worries.

5. They have a natural willingness to uplift those around them.

6. They have a good sense of humor and can survive anywhere.

7. They always see the good things in other people. 

All these are the major qualities of cheerful and grateful people, that made them to be among the set of people who must be great in life.

We shall therefore be considering the last set of people under this category, and these are;

5. THE PRAYERFUL PEOPLE:

This category of people believe that for them to make it in life, they must be connected to an extra-ordinary power of the Almighty God. They demostrate an extra-ordinary kind of faith in God, and their faith works for them. This set of people believes that greatness is not only attended by their own personal struggles as man. They have a way of attracting favour to themselves through their secret prayers to God. They can change their situations and turn things around for good through their prayers of faith. Although they can work and labour, but their confidence of making it in life is not in that work or labour, but on their God. They has one special believe that with God all things are possible. Those of them that add hardwork to their faith and prayers usually go far more than their lazy counterpart. This category of people, seem to be irresistable, unstoppable and unlimited by neither physical or spiritual oppositions. Hence, people in this category are usually great in life. The question therefore is;

WHY DOES PRAYERFUL PEOPLE ALWAYS ATTEND A GREAT HEIGHT IN LIFE?

The major reason why people in this category are usually great in life is because;

1. They believe in extra-ordinary spiritual powers, and the spiritual controls the physical.

2. They don't believe in impossibilities due to their faith in their God.

3. They can use their prayers to attract favour from people and open closed doors for themselves.

4. They can change every kind of situation for their own good.

5. They can confront and conquer every opposition and obstacles through their prayers.

6. They focused more in tackling the spiritual side of their challenges, before coming to the physical side.

7. They can get the revelation, directions and guideline of whatever they want to do through their prayers of faith.

All these are the reason why this set of people are usually great in life.

In summary, remember that every body may be destined to be great, but if you fold your arms, you may not attend or reach to your destination of greatness. But the good thing here is that, even if you discover that you don't possess any of the above qualities, you can still work it out, and be integrated among the above category of people. But, it will cost you prize payment and extra time. But not how long, but the end justifies. Remember once again, nobody was made to be a nonentity. It all depends on the definition you give yourself.
