Dear members of this blog family, today in this content we want to consider a very crucial and relevant issue that can benefit every one, both young and old.
Why I decided to integrate this topic into my content is because of my interest in our future generations. And who are these our future generations? The answer is not far from the topic of this content - Our Children.
Hence any thing that affects the children of the present generation has directly affected our future generations. Thus, it becomes paramount for every parents to see the need to understand the makeup of the content of this blog.
Today, I want to explicitly and comprehensively examine and explore everyone of us through:
THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT THINGS EVERY RESPONSIBLE PARENTS SHOULD DO FOR THEIR CHILDREN:
Amongst every responsibilities of parents all over the world, I specifically want to point out the two most important of them all which every child of the 21st century cannot and must not do without.
Tracing back, almost every parents have the true knowledge of their responsibilities to their children, but your understanding of the true definition of who a child is to you will help you to understand the secret behind my choice of considering today's topic as paramount and indispensable.
Now, let's dive in together and see what those two things are:
1. EDUCATION
2. HEALTH CARE
To this end we are going to consider why these two factors should for the priority of every responsible parents.
Remember, I am not just writing in favor of our children, but to secure our next generation so that it can fit in to the main definition of what it is as a digital age.
THE ROLE OF EDUCATION IN SECURING THE FUTURE GENERATON:
It have vividly noticed both by research, experience and encounter with so many people that most parents have never actually understand the role of education to their children, consequently to the future generation.
I thus start like this;
What is education?
Personally, I see education as the process of civilization towards the possession of knowledge to the demonstration of power.
That means, Education produces knowledge, and knowledge they say is POWER.
To this, the height and level of the operation and recognition of any man in any society is dependent on the level and the height of the knowledge he/she possessed, which when traced back reveals the quality of the education he/she passed through.
As parents, there are a lot of responsibilities facing you in the family, but when you don't reason tactically and logically, those responsibilities may make you forget what should have been the number one of all your priority, that is; the education of you child/children.
Is obvious that as parents, you have other duties like;
1. Feeding the children.
2. Clothing them.
3. Giving them shelter.
4. Protecting them.
5. Guiding them and much more.
But amongst all these, their education stands out very tall in the sense that it is the foundation with which the child can use in the future to take care of the other mentioned responsibilities for and by himself. Reason is that the child you feed today, will soon forget the delicious nature of the meal you has been feeding him with, if by tomorrow he/she discovered that the right to be educated has been denied or deprived him/her by the parents. When they go out there, and see their mates fitting in to the demands of their age and themselves can't fit-in due to poor or no educational foundation, they will have no other option than to be regretting and putting all the blames to their parents. At that point even the regret and the blames put together cannot resolve the issues. To this, it is now the time for parents to save their lovely, God given children from the future regret and sorrow by prioritizing on their education amongst other responsibilities.
Also, even the clothes you bought for your child today, will go old tomorrow and become old fashioned, but the education you give him/her today can never go old neither will it become old fashioned. Instead, it serves as a base for his continuous advancement and adaptability towards the changing socially technological world in which he find himself. This simply means that with education, you child will be digitally upgraded among his mate in his generation.
In a similar note, the shelter you give your child today, the beautiful house of today will become outdated and not pleasurable again by the time their own generation manifest. So, if the child don't have the educational foundation with which he can use to acquire his own modernized house of their generation, how can he be happy again, because the past pleasure will entirely evaporate from his memory like water evaporates from a hot vessel.
You protect the child today, that's fantastic but with the education you offered to him today, he can protect himself tomorrow. You know that in our modern generation security has been classified, not just the one our grand parents offered to us.
In our days we have cybersecurity, food security, economic security, email security, network security, application security, endpoint security, cloud security data security, operational security and so on.
Then, if the only security or protection you child know is just that one you gave to him in his childhood, when their age manifest he will not be able to fit-in or to understand how to secure himself in the digital world where he may find himself.
To this end, you can see with me that education stands out amongst every other responsibilities of parents to their children.
At this point, I will also explore you through some of the things that should motivate you to see the need to put the education of your child first then other responsibilities follows;
THE NEED TO PRIORITIZE THE EDUCATION OF YOUR CHILD AMONGST OTHER PARENTAL RESPONSIBILITES
1. It makes the child to be independent in the distant future.
2. It makes the child to fit-in to the technological and digital world.
3. It gives your child the ability to contribute his own knowledge in solving the problems of their generation.
4. It is a tool to change the family background of many families, that is why most poor parents decided to sell their valuable properties so that their children can be educated.
5. It is a powerful foundation for future success.
6. It makes your child to be useful to the society and world at large.
7. It makes the child to think in a positive direction.
In conclusion, there is nothing that gives me joy on earth than seeing any parents that is paying prize and price to makes sure that their children will be educated and when you do that, your child becomes your useful investment, and the price of your labor as a parent can never be in vain. Sometimes, most children will not understand why you are do what you are doing as their parents. But don't look at their childishness and ignorance as a parent that has vision, because if they fail, they cannot blame themselves tomorrow but the parents.
And the the children, don't frustrate the effort of your lovely parents that want you to be educated today, because tomorrow you are the one to enjoy their effort first.
At this point, I will like to draw the curtain by saying, let all both parents and children embrace education, because it is a powerful tool to change any generation of mankind on earth.
In my next content I am going to talk about the second most important thing every responsible parents should do for their children.
